Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Filling

  • 9 pack slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking sheet or casserole dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Chicken Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine shredded chicken, Frank’s buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Place the bottom halves of the slider buns evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon and evenly distribute the buffalo chicken mixture over each bun base. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the chicken, then cap with the top buns to form complete sliders.
  4. Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Use a pastry brush to generously brush this garlic butter over the tops of the slider buns to add flavor and help browning.
  5. Bake Covered: Cover the baking sheet tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the chicken to heat through.
  6. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the tops of the buns are lightly golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven, cut if necessary, and serve immediately while hot. These sliders go great with celery sticks, extra ranch, or blue cheese dressing on the side.

Notes

  • Use cooked shredded chicken, such as leftover rotisserie chicken, for convenience.
  • For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the chicken mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing for a richer flavor.
  • Brush the tops of the buns generously with garlic butter for the best crust and flavor.
  • Slider buns can be replaced with mini sandwich rolls if sliders are unavailable.
  • These sliders are best served fresh but can be wrapped and refrigerated for up to 2 days.
