Ingredients

Scale

Vegetables

  • 1 pound baby Dutch yellow potatoes
  • 3 ears corn, each cut crosswise into 6 pieces
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Seafood and Meat

  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 (12.8-ounce) package smoked andouille sausage, thinly sliced

Seasonings and Others

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat it with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Parboil potatoes and corn: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the baby Dutch yellow potatoes and cook for about 10 to 13 minutes until just tender. Add the corn pieces in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Once done, drain the potatoes and corn well.
  3. Prepare garlic butter mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix well to create a flavorful sauce.
  4. Assemble on sheet pan: Arrange the parboiled potatoes, corn, peeled and deveined shrimp, and thinly sliced andouille sausage in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over everything and gently toss to evenly coat all the ingredients.
  5. Bake the dish: Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the shrimp turn opaque and the corn is tender, indicating everything is cooked through and flavorful.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges for a bright, fresh finish.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overcook the shrimp; they should turn opaque and firm but not rubbery.
  • Use smoked andouille sausage for the best depth of flavor, but kielbasa or other smoked sausages can be substituted.
  • Parboiling the potatoes and corn before baking helps ensure even cooking and tender textures.
  • For extra spice, sprinkle additional Old Bay seasoning on top before baking.
  • This recipe can easily be doubled for larger groups using two sheet pans.
