Made with just a handful of simple ingredients, it’s an easy no-bake treat that sets in the fridge and features a delightful swirl pattern for a visually appealing dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Fudge Base

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Marshmallow Swirl

  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff (or marshmallow cream)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips together with the sweetened condensed milk and melted butter, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and fully combined to prevent burning.
  2. Add the vanilla and salt. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt thoroughly to enhance the flavor of the fudge base.
  3. Pour into the pan. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking, then evenly spread the chocolate fudge mixture into the pan for an even layer.
  4. Add the marshmallow swirl. Drop spoonfuls of marshmallow fluff on top of the fudge layer, then use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the marshmallow into the chocolate fudge creating a marbled pattern.
  5. Chill and set. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm enough to cut.
  6. Cut and serve. Once the fudge has set, use the parchment paper to lift it from the pan. Cut into squares and serve immediately or store for later enjoyment.

Notes

  • Use low heat when melting chocolate to prevent it from scorching.
  • For a different flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or espresso powder to the chocolate base.
  • Marshmallow fluff can be substituted with marshmallow cream if needed.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
  • Make sure the pan is well lined with parchment paper for easy removal of the fudge.
