These BLT Egg Sliders combine the classic flavors of a BLT sandwich with the convenience and fun of bite-sized egg sliders. Egg Sliders

  • 6 small hard boiled eggs
  • 2 teaspoons mustard (any type you prefer)
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 3 baby romaine lettuce leaves, washed and dried
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the egg bases: Cut each hard-boiled egg in half. Take one half and turn it over to cut some of the egg white off the bottom so that when turned back over, the egg half will stand upright steadily. Do this for 6 egg halves only, which will form the bottom pieces of the sliders.
  2. Season and add toppings: Sprinkle each exposed yolk on the bottom halves with salt and black pepper. Spread a thin layer of mustard over the yolk. On top of each bottom egg half, place one strip of cooked bacon, followed by one slice of tomato and a piece of romaine lettuce leaf.
  3. Assemble the sliders: Cover each stack with the matching egg top half. Secure each slider with a toothpick or cocktail stick to hold all the layers together firmly.
  4. Optional garnish and serving: Lightly sprinkle some more black pepper over the assembled sliders and add sesame seeds on top if using. Serve immediately and enjoy these savory mini BLT egg sliders as a delicious snack or appetizer.
